CHILDREN AND THEIR MISSING NOTE BOOKS/ PENCILS FROM SCHOOL

Every parent experiences this when the child comes back from school – some have their erasers, pencils lost and some others the entire pencil box it self! For others it could be the important notebooks where she / he, will have to do the revision from!!!

So how do we adults deal with this common problem? Yes we can tell them to be careful, and even after repeated requests we find missing things from her bag; most often it is the child next to her who would have borrowed the pencil or taken it from her. So how do we stop this and bring about some kind of order in being responsible for her things taken to school?

Experience tells us that the best way to remind the child to bring back the items is to make a separate note of the things inside- IS TO MAKE A LIST AND PIN IT ON THE BAG and ask the child to check it before leaving the class. Then she can even take the help of the teacher in getting her lost note- book etc; this is more sensible than scolding the child all the time for things missing from her bag!
